Charles Back, 1935-2025

We were deeply saddened to learn of the death yesterday (Saturday 8th March) of Charles Back, at the age of 89. Charlie, as he was known to everyone, is a past Group Scout Leader and President of our Group and much more besides. Charlie was instrumental in the purchase of the land and the building of our Hut, and his amazing contribution to our Group, and to the wider community, will be felt for generations to come.
Our thoughts and prayers today are with Charlie’s family.
