HQ and Campsite

Well-appointed Hut and Campsite with great facilities in a rural location

HQ and Campsite

We are fortunate to have our own Hut and a large surrounding area for camping on.

Our Scout Hut, has a kitchen, a large hall and additional smaller rooms for socialising, meetings, or indoor activities.

Our premises have a hard-standing car park that will take up to 25 cars, and a large camping field beyond.

We also have the use of private woodland areas for wide games.

We are very happy to hire our facilities for use to Scout and Guide groups from other areas, near or far.

Further info: The site is suitable for a mixture of indoor accommodation and outdoor camping. The whole site is dedicated exclusively to Scouting. No animals of any description are permitted (excluding support animals).

A coach cannot get onto the site due to the narrow access path, so visitors arriving by coach must be dropped at the gate (75m walk to site along hard drive).

Local shops include small Co-Op and butchers, PO, farm shop … all larger stores will deliver from Taunton.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
